I found the 2013 September/October calender on Google Images. It seems to be a legit merchandise of Samurai Warriors 4? Maybe just Samurai Warriors in general, but it included the new characters from Chronicles 2, and surprisingly some interesting yet mysterious new characters. Such as that one in this issue.

Just to clarify, this new character was sitting next to Sakon and Mitsunari in the picture. That's what Xiao Qiao meant; she was just breaking down the evidence X3 Found the picture and the picture has the three of them sitting together.

Yeah, this new character just MIGHT be a new strategist. A Samurai Warriors version of Pang Tong? MAYBE lol. Whom this person serves is yet unknown. As far as my thoughts go, his chibi form reminds me of Hanbei's chibi form (which I have on my desk, along with Ina and Ichi; those mini-figures if anybody remembers). Could this mysterious person be related to Hanbei? Nah! Again, it was just a thought; judging outside of the book. I mean he's got those purple markings around his eyes. Another thought was, since he was sitting next to Sakon and Mitsunari, I assume he/she might be one of the many officers on the Western Army that fought in Sekigehara. Quick! Somebody, replay SW3's Battle of Sekigehara and look through the list of NPCs!

Let's just hope this person isn't evil or anything, and I hope it's a woman...don't judge me lol.
Whether this character will become playable or not, at least it's good to see Koei making more newcomers for Samurai Warriors, and maybe for Warriors Orochi 4. That's why Da Qiao said she's looking forward to working with that mysterious person.
