Description
This week, Ubisoft finally released Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China. To be honest, I was actually looking forward to it, despite not playing much Assassin's Creed games besides Revelations.
However, Chronicles isn't being developed by any of the regional Ubisofts - it's a company named Climax Studios. So, if you have any complains about the game so far, blame Climax, not Ubisoft X3
Anyways, Chronicles isn't like the traditional AC games. It's a 2.5D platformer game, similar to Ubisoft's Prince of Persia. Surprisingly, the Assassinations work pretty well in 2.5D action. Similar to Batman: Arkham Origns Blackgate. Good mechanics in gameplay and stealth. I haven't experienced full of the game yet (only past the first-two levels), but so far, I'm liking it.
What mostly got my attention of the game is the settings. Chronicles is going to be a trilogy game. First set in 16th Century China (where my attention was caught lol), then I believe the other two are in Egypt and Russia. All linked to Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - Shao Jun, the main protagonist of AC: China has meet the legendary Ezio Auditore *w*
Obviously, an Assassin's Creed game in China (or anywhere in Asia) was one reason why I got so interested in the upcoming game. Ubisoft denied Assassin's Creed to be set in Japan because it's, "not possible" or "not interesting" lol.
So, with China being involved, it got me into this idea. Yuanji, being part of the Brotherhood of Assassins!
Hey, they have throwing knives in the game, and Yuanji is the master of it. Plus swords - 4-star compatibility X3
I also did a little experiment here. As you can tell, I did that, "thingy" when Anime characters have that shady-part around their eyes.
Can't remember what they call it, though, but it's too spooky X3
