Koei-Tecmo at TGS 2022
Hey folks, gaming123456 here now in Journal mode. It's been a long time and today I have an excuse to put it to use. The Japanese E3 event, Tokyo Game Show 2022 is just around the corner. September 15th to 18th. You can check out the website for more details, but more is being added so keep tabs if you can Link:https://tgs.nikkeibp.co.jp/tgs/2022/en/ As per usual, Koei-Tecmo will be at the event to showcase their line-up. So far, not a lot is being brought to the show floor. Only two games so far according to Koei-Tecmo's schedule. According to the schedule, on Friday 16th 19:00 - 19:50 (JST), the first half of the show will reveal a new title from Gust (developers of the Atelier and Nights of Azure series), and the second half will showcase Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty by Team Ninja. There will be a live gameplay demo of Wo Long during the showcase. A new gameplay trailer of Wo Long has been uploaded during Gamescom so check it out because this is definitely Koei-Tecmo's biggest
DW9 Empires gets Ancient Officers in DeluxeEdition
Hey folks, gaming123456 here. Got a small update that just might be either spicy or sweet (whichever you folks prefer). Lately, there has been fresh details regarding the Deluxe Edition of Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires. By Deluxe, I guess they're referring to Digital Deluxe Edition of the game via PS Store, eShop, Steam, and Microsoft Store. In said Deluxe, you get a couple of Ancient Officers added to your roster. At first, they seemed to be preset-design characters from the game's Create-a-Warrior mode, but no, they are original "guest" characters. (at least, some sources say so). However, don't get your hopes up too high. This is the same tactic Kou Shibusawa did with the Romance of the Three Kingdom series. Example, the characters in Atelier Ryza shows up in RoTK as additional armies (don't question it), but they are (keyword) Guests at the end of the day. (I think they even added characters outside of the Three Kingdoms era). So, who are these Ancient officers? Here they
Touken Renbu Musou Western Release date and Update
Hey folks, gaming123456 here with an interesting surprise. A few months ago, Koei-Tecmo and DMM Games announced that the Touken Renbu series would be getting a Musou/Warriors adaption. Since then, it was only confirmed to be a Japanese-exclusive title for Nintendo Switch. Then, during the Japanese Nintendo Direct, a new trailer was revealed showing it's characters and gameplay. While it wasn't shown in the English Nintendo Direct, did it stop there? Not at all!! Koei-Tecmo uploaded the same trailer with English subtitles and confirming that the game will indeed be releasing in the West. Once again, it'll be released on Nintendo Switch. The release date is: February 17th, 2022 (Japan) May 24th, 2022 (NA/EU) You can also check out the Presentation video that Koei-Tecmo had cooked up along with the trailer. Personally, I'm not familiar with the series and for obvious series, but will you folks plan to pick-up the game when it comes out?
Monster Rancher 1+2 DX Localized
Hey folks, gaming123456 here, and GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!! Koei-Tecmo just announced the re-release of Monster Rancher and Monster Ranch 2 as the DX edition (Deluxe if you will) and both games (as a bundle) will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PC-Steam, iOS and Android devices. When? December 9th, 2021; worldwide Wait? Worldwide?! YES!!! *Funny thing is, the game was already out, but the "vanilla" release was exclusive to Japan. It's just the DX edition is considered "new" for the west. That's why I said, "re-release" earlier, thus Japanese gamers have to double-dip on it now. To celebrate it's announcement, a short video message by Kazumi Fujita (executive producer of the series) was posted. Check out the video below. Apparently, this only happened because of the feedbacks that were posted on social media. They heard our outcries! Musou Stars referencing Monster Rancher wasn't just a one-time gig. It paid off! Ninja Gaiden, and now Monster Rancher. We keep this up, we might see the
