Metroid's Comeback *Zero Suit Samus + Arm Cannon*

Then we got Federation Force. A Coop Metroid game that DOES have a connection to the storyline of the Metroid series.

Then, in 2017 at E3, we got, not one, but two Metroid games announced.
Metroid Samus' Return, a remake of the GameBoy game, Metroid 2 which is releasing this September on 3DS.
Metroid Prime 4 the continuation of the Prime series, but it's not being developed by Retro Studios. It's scheduled to be released in 2018 for the Nintendo Switch.
PLUS, two new Metroid series Amiibos.

It was definitely a good day to be a Metroid fan, and those announcements made up for the belated 30th Anniversary of the series. Like I said, the wait was long, but worth it!
At least I had the patience unlike most people who didn't. I've spend years replaying some classic Metroid games + Smash Bros WiiU to get my Metroid hype fixated.
Then, I made sketches of mostly Zero Suit Samus because she is just gorgeous! 

Okay fine, I can say she's sexy too X3

Really glad to see the Metroid series coming back and I will most definitely get Metroid Samus' Return when it comes out this year.
I'll wait on Prime 4 and see how it turns out considering it's being made by some other company.

One of these days, Samus should keep the Arm Cannon active if she thinks her Paralyzer isn't doing the trick. Just like her "Justin Bailey" costume from the first NES Metroid game.
